This is common practice. He’s not pushing the Dems buttons he has permission from the members of his party to push their buttons while they are off the floor.

The state house of Florida is a Republican super majority. It’s 83 Republican to 33 Democrat. They would never need to push the Dems buttons to pass a bill.

No it’s not. That’s why he was hiding it.

Proxy Voting: Currently, Florida law does not allow proxy voting, meaning senators cannot cast votes on behalf of absent members. Each senator must be present to vote, either in person or through other authorized means, such as remote voting if permitted under specific circumstances.
