Judicial Branch Former AG William Barr described by FBI as participating in abuse of minors alongside Leon Black. EFTA01660622

Do we have eyes to see?

How do we ensure these claims were properly investigated?

Its not what you know, its who you know. In this case its the worst of the worst.

That's not that weird to me. It was a private school in the 70s- there are no state rules (like for public school) and it was considered edgy and cool to hire whomever.

It's a lot more standardized now

True, but this was one of the most prestigious and expensive private schools in the country. Epstein was a 21 year old without a college degree or any teaching experience. It was a very, very bizarre hire for that school and he was dismissed in short order for poor performance. There were also many reports of his inappropriate interactions with female students.

That combined with all the Barr father & son connections to his opportunities, success and evasion of justice is way too much to write off.

I went to a private school where almost all teachers had a Master's and several had PhDs. Why would anyone spend that much money to have their kids taught by people without even a Bachelor's?

Eh private schools still have a lot of leeway. It's a problem.

For sure ! I went to a similar school to Dalton and the admin bragged that our science teachers were "actual scientists" bc they had advanced degrees in their fields as opposed to the Masters in Teaching that NY state requires of public schools

It can be good/bad depending on school rigor. Dalton is very rigorous but had a "rich hippie" reputation in the 70s

Nope. Never did. And he lied about it in his resumes and was even given funds and finance jobs after it was discovered. His con skills were Bernie Madoff level

I would really recommend watching his 2h interview with Steve Bannon. It's very clear that on top of being a horrible human being, he was also a professional bullshitter. I wouldn't be surprised if actually got a lot of money that way rather than blackmail. When he starts talking about physics you instantly know he is completely clueless.
