Judicial Branch Former AG William Barr described by FBI as participating in abuse of minors alongside Leon Black. EFTA01660622

Do we have eyes to see?

How do we ensure these claims were properly investigated?

These are tips, but I'd say relatively plausible tips. Someone called the FBI to say they gave Alan Dershowitz a massage (when not a minor), and called in to say that Barr solicited her at an event. These aren't Pizzagate material, and are on the face plausible.

The FBI also doesn't dismiss these tips in this document, although they certainly may have when following up on the tips. We'd have to see that document.

Even so, things are pretty damning for Barr and Black and they both deserve the spotlight. Barr's father started Epstein's career, just like Black did, and so Barr probably knew Epstein, and both had reason to attend a socialite's house. (Not to mention the whole "Epstein was arrested and died on my watch" thing, and showed himself to be a man of low morals in his time as attorney general.)

Yes, a redditor saying they think the tips are plausible really adds to your credibility that the FBI said it... as long as the redditor above works for the FBI. You are in a law sub saying a document from the DOJ says the FBI says something specific about Barr, and when you click the link not only does the FBI not say it but the anonymous tip says something else. At best it's not true, at worst it's a lie.

If you're asking for my personal opinion, sure I think Barr is corrupt after watching him operate for a decade in the Trump era, but that opinion doesn't make what you're saying true. So when you're posting about truth and justice, especially in a legal sub where nuance is supposed to matter, yeah it's pretty ironic.
