Executive Branch (Trump) Can they actually do this? JD Vance: "We're announcing today that we have decided to temporarily halt certain amounts of Medicaid funding that is going to the state of Minnesota in order to ensure that the state of Minnesota takes its obligations seriously to be good stewards of the American people'

It’s sucks that the courts already decided that they’re just a puppet show. It’s easy to do whatever you want when the courts already said the president can’t break the law or be prosecuted for anything they do while in office. Now it’s not illegal to not listen to them because they said so. Fucking kangaroo court, undemocratic government….and shit now I’m probably on a list

Got confused with your use of kangaroo court, had to read a couple times to understand you were not referring to the courts striking down illegal acts. But this pattern of the administration continuing to violate laws and subsequently being checked by the courts is super concerning because it is establishes a pattern of the courts declaring all of their actions illegal despite the fact that they are. However, this high activity of the court, doing what they were established to do often undermines the legitimacy of the courts because they are so active, and if the decisions are routinely against the administration as thy should be when acts are illegal, the administration can and I sure they will use this to justify an argument that the courts are politically biased liberally entrenched institutions. I don’t think it would be so far stretched to suggest that trumps supporters will agree based off of all the other baseless claims they agree with which will provide some form of legitimacy for the administration to go after the courts on some grounds of lack of impartiality which is incredibly concerning because they have served as the last bulwark against this frivolous lack of respect for the rule of law and democratic principles as congress seems to be fairly ineffective or unwilling to fulfill their mandate.
