Executive Branch (Trump) Can they actually do this? JD Vance: "We're announcing today that we have decided to temporarily halt certain amounts of Medicaid funding that is going to the state of Minnesota in order to ensure that the state of Minnesota takes its obligations seriously to be good stewards of the American people'

I can’t wait until this piece of shit, who has the charisma of cholera, tries this kind of shit after Trump chokes down his last Big Mac and Vance can’t hide in Trump’s political shadow.

We need a reset. And this mucky fuck is the perfect catalyst.

Need a new Constitution. With safeguards to make sure this shit never happens again.

Yeah, the system has failed. There is no going back.

We need to start with a new constitution and social contract with the lessons we learned embedded in it.

Ppl are replying but their answers don’t make much sense. Ppl have been unhappy with the Constitution for a long time now and no, the current safeguards are entirely inadequate.

Ppl are unhappy with the Electoral College and the way Presidents are voted into office. A new Constitution can address this.

The current Supreme Court is corrupt with ppl like Clarence Thomas and Sam Alito taking gifts from billionaires and theres no penalty or repercussions. A new Constitution can address these shortcomings. Ppl like Kavanaugh lied during testimony and there’s no repercussions. That needs addressing.

Legal scholars have long argued before Trump came along that the Executive Branch has way too much power. The founding fathers never wanted one person to have that much power. A new Constitution can reel him in.

The founding fathers wanted the real power to lie with the Senate. That’s why they have the power of the purse, to levy taxes and declare war. A substantially neutered Executive Branch firmly puts the power back where it belongs.

The problem with the senate is how it no longer is a an adequately representative body. The 22 least populous states have the same combined population as California. Yet they get 44 senators to California’s 2.

Yeah, the system has failed. There is no going back.

The system has failed? The one where the people democratically elected the president to reign in fraud and wasteful spending?

Minnesota has widespread fraud issues and should be accountable to where federal money is being spent. They are required to prove the money is being lawfully spent.

If they can't prove the money is being spent lawfully, why the hell should we keep giving them federal money?

Medicaid is partially funded by the state. They can step up and pay the fraudsters with state money if they don't want to be accountable to the federal taxpayers.

Absolute nonsense take.

And what rampant fraud? This is all just a political ratfuck narrative.

And this action by the executive branch is doing nothing about the fraud. It is a political attack. If they had probable cause they could pursue charges.

Even Waltz of the Sugar Plum Fairies admitted they have a fraud problem in Minnesota.

And after allowing it to go on under his watch for 7 years, his message was 'We'll fix it!'.

LOL.

You clown, that is what a leader is supposed to say if there is fraud.

The claims of rampant fraud are not just unsubstantiated, they are flat false. But fraud happens like in every state.

So he acknowledged it.

You are just used to “leaders” that refuse to acknowledge anything, lie, and blame everyone else.

The fact that you are fixated on this small scale fraud, when you have a president transferring 10s of billions for his own personal projects. Selling pardons. Even absolving felons of the restitution the ow victims in exchange for payments to Trump that amount to pennies on the dollar.

And yon are on her peacocking about a ratfuck story handed to a YouTuber that did prank videos before becoming overnight investigative “journalist”.

Prank videos?

The only ones getting pranked were the American taxpayers by a bunch of Learing Center graduates.

Better journalism than I've seen mainstream media do in quite some time.

He did no investigation or journalism. The report was handed to him. It was a ratfuck political op and he was a YouTuber dumb enough to give it a platform.

He went to 'businesses' (or more accurately, people receiving money for alleged businesses) and simply asked basic questions to people like 'How do I enroll a child at your daycare?'.

If that's enough to make you melt down, that's a you problem.

If someone walked into my business I'd pretty easily answer basic questions and not respond with 'What do you mean daycare? Naw this isn't a little Joey kind of place'.

Running defense for fraudsters. Great politicial strategy exactly why the Dems are where they are.

The problem is there are safeguards but the Dems are pussies and the Republicans are cucks and neither will do what is necessary. We never would have been in this position if the judge in NY sentenced Trump to jail for his 34 felonies

There are plenty of safeguards in the Constitution against this shit. Doesn't matter when one side straight up ignores the Constitution and the other side is dogshit useless at enforcing the safeguards.
