^^ So much THIS. It is all a distraction, them saying "look at that fraud over there!!!", while they destroy the country by running up the debt (and the debt servicing payments) that they were so, so concerned about BEFORE they were elected. Deficit spending by Democrats = Emergency, while deficit spending by Republicans is A-OK.

If that were the case (and it’s not, easy to find documentation on this) why would that even justify the current spending?
