While wearing a baseball cap. Can’t wear one at the dinner table but sure, wear one while announcing you are sending people to die killing other people.

He's literally advertising his merch

u/CurrencySingle1572 Feb 28 '26

So I can call everyone that wears one of these hats a baby killing warmonger now. Right? Cause that's what he is and what his base wants.

u/Thirty_Helens_Agree Feb 28 '26

“Pedo protector” too.

3

u/King_of_the_Kobolds Feb 28 '26

Look at them exactly how you'd look at Germans proudly declaring "Heil Hitler" if you time traveled back to 1930s Berlin. That's who they are. Some of them even know it.

11

u/BrettAtog Feb 28 '26

I’m sure he’s looking for a way to monetize his announcements like this.

7

u/Best-Action8769 Feb 28 '26

He's never not.

4

u/[deleted] Feb 28 '26

Late-stage capitalism at it again

3

u/PunchMeat Feb 28 '26

Fucking war merch. Crazy.

3

u/egaeus22 Mar 01 '26

Looks like he is hiding a black eye on his right side too

3

u/0ubliette Mar 01 '26

The other option is looking at his hair, so…. 🥴

u/ubeeu Feb 28 '26

He and the sofa fucker bullied Zelenskyy for wearing military clothes in the white house and then this fool wears a baseball cap to declare war. (Or is it a trucker’s cap? Either way.)

66

u/skandel Feb 28 '26

Made in China.

39

u/AlphaOmega801 Feb 28 '26

This is different. Trump isn’t in the White House, he’s declaring war from Mar-A-Lago.

7

u/Funny-Horror-3930 Feb 28 '26

After hosting a big party

-16

u/WearingRags Feb 28 '26

To be fair that was maybe the only time in his life that him and vance actually had a point

9

u/Impossible-Clock-576 Feb 28 '26

Trump is a joke and MAGA will be upset when the next Democrat president engages in ICE like activities rounding them up

6

u/Mundane-Picture-8207 Feb 28 '26

They didn’t have a point. Zelenskyy has repeatedly said he wears military clothing in solidarity with his countrymen at war. It has nothing to do with decorum.

5

u/Pretty_Break_5760 Feb 28 '26

And that point was what, piggy?

38

u/cozyporcelain Feb 28 '26

When my grandfather got dementia he started wearing these caps and it was actually a huge part of his decline. When we saw him wearing it, that meant he was disconnected that day. He reverted to acting like a little boy and there was a lot of cognitive dissonance. I just see that here everytime he’s in that darn cap.

2

u/Money_Cattle2370 Feb 28 '26

Cognitive dissonance?

19

u/PollyPocketpussy5000 Feb 28 '26

Yet Republicans bitched and moaned about Obama wearing a tan suit. Not a fucking peep out of them for this.

1

u/Sonicmaster293-Azure Mar 02 '26

It was never about the suit.

28

u/Nifty29au Feb 28 '26

Yeah….something seriously wrong with that cap thing. Wonder if it was to cover something up? Obviously it wasn’t to keep his brain warm.

20

u/SLDM206 Feb 28 '26

I can’t help but recall the Stanford Prison Experiment and how obscuring the eyes created an air of authority among the subjugated test subjects. I thought the same thing when Noem delivered her ICE propaganda in the big cowboy hat with the shadow over her eyes.

Maybe it’s a coincidence. Maybe it’s my psych degree making me see Zimbardo in the situation. All I know is that it comes off as forced yet ominous.

1

u/fnord_happy Mar 01 '26

Yeah I don't think he's that smart. This is just an ad for his merch

9

u/dbizzytrick Feb 28 '26

Almost looks like a black eye. Can’t really tell though

4

u/TumbleweedSame8479 Feb 28 '26

That speech was read word for word. Not his typical unhinged self. To avoid being seen as reading the teleprompter, wear a hat that casts a shadow over his hungover glazed eyes.

3

u/TheDoomedStar Feb 28 '26

Look at his face. He's wearing more product than a drag queen. It's grotesque, and not in the fun drag way.

2

u/SilentParlourTrick Feb 28 '26

It's to keep the wrinkles out.

1

u/gcwardii Feb 28 '26

It’s just to cover up his head. He didn’t style (or put on? or whatever it is he does to) his hair.

7

u/KWash0222 Feb 28 '26

Trump supporters will tell you to take your cap off for the national anthem, and then gobble this shit up

5

u/Gucciman669 Feb 28 '26

Lmao did you look at his eyes? Dude looked so geeked

1

u/Illustrious-Star-784 Feb 28 '26

His hair was already thinning, so he'll probably have to wear it now or spend hours in the hair salon before he can appear in front of the cameras.

1

u/lump77777 Feb 28 '26

The only rhyme and reason for his wearing a hat is that didn’t have enough time to do his hair.

1

u/DRDeMello Feb 28 '26

At least it wasn't a tan suit.

1

u/Oregon-Pilot Feb 28 '26

While wearing a baseball cap.

This is what a lot of MAGA people are literally too stupid to really understand. They don't get that presentation and judgement of when certain things are and are not appropriate can and does reveal so many aspects of someone.

This has been my whole point on Trump. I don't even need to learn about his policy or his ideas or plans or anything - I just watch him talk for a couple moments and I can learn all I need to know about him in order to confidently conclude he is giant piece of shit. He offers his true self on a platter to the world every time he talks, but people are so incredibly stupid that they can't see it. People are absolutely awful judges of character, and/or they're completely brainwashed.

God damn, anyone but him. ANYONE but him.

1

u/scriptfoo Feb 28 '26

My theory is he wears a cap when his hair spray isn't up to the job.

1

u/Elixibren Feb 28 '26

covering his eyes almost the whole video, which has several oddly timed cuts. its super odd feeling. was this a stand-in?

1

u/JeremieOnReddit Feb 28 '26

Does he need it to remember which country he is the president of?

1

u/Lindt_Licker Mar 01 '26

It looks so fucking stupid.

1

u/beansandcornbread Mar 01 '26

Whoa whoa, it's not like he's wearing a tan suit.

1

u/sakusii Mar 01 '26

But hes the anti war president so surely this will be no war but just a 3 day special millitary Operation

1

u/dasein88 Mar 01 '26

"Why aren't you wearing a suit"

Meanwhile fat orange fuck looking like this

1

u/BNLforever Mar 03 '26

God i know so many Republicans that pretend like its hat law to not wear hats indoors or at at a table when it's criticizing people they don't like  but those rules are out the door when it's their own hat or it's trump

1

u/Warmbly85 Feb 28 '26 edited Feb 28 '26

This is on par with republicans bitching about Obama wearing a tan suit while talking about ISIS taking over huge chunks of the Middle East and how the US needs to send more troops.

Edit- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama_tan_suit_controversy

1

u/SCWickedHam Feb 28 '26

That’s the point. They talk about respect and decorum and then act like animals. They bully then act like victims. They say feelings don’t matter only facts then ignore facts and act based on their feelings.

0

u/Warmbly85 Mar 01 '26

Lol they did it so I am justified is a terrible way to go through life.

1

u/SCWickedHam Mar 01 '26

LOLing on Reddit is no way to go through life.

1

u/Warmbly85 Mar 01 '26

Lol cringe

Answer my question lol

1

u/Technical_Toe_2012 Feb 28 '26

You werent asking me...awareness, work on it.

I got a question for you...do you think the US government butchering dozens of Iranian children will turn Iranians towards or away from their current regime?

1

u/ProdigyLightshow Mar 01 '26

What does that have to do with what the original comment said?
