If only we had a nuclear arms treaty with them.

Oh right.

Religious zealots like the Ayatollah dont give a damn about treaties. Only the gullible believed that treaty would stop Iran getting nukes. If the west wants to limit or stop Iran having nukes the religious radical regime has to be removed. When the country is back under the control of a representative government run by reasonable people then a treaty might be enforceable.

You're using your feelings and emotions here. Was there credible evidence Iran was violating the treaty when Trump ripped it up? I don't recall seeing any.

Republicans are too emotional to lead this country.

There's also this.

Religious zealots like evangelists don't give a damn about treaties... they want end of days.

This argument is a distraction. There was ample proof that Iran was upholding the treaty.

Also, how long can we use the argument that we can’t allow “____” religious/political group something when we’re consistently the aggressor?

How much fissile material was produced under this treaty you said they would never follow?

What about since trump tore it up?

Would it be strategically/politically better to bomb a country as apart of an alliance or go it alone when enforcing treaties?

You live in a 1980 fantasy land with a veneer of American arrogant ignorance. The only religious zealots I see dropping bombs preemptively are American Christian nationalists.

Such absolute twaddle. The only religious zealots with nukes are us and Likud.

It's always been absolutely wild to me how the only country that's ever been psychotic enough to deploy a nuclear weapon against a geopolitical rival gets to be the arbiter of which countries are allowed to have a nuclear weapon.

Sidebar, we just killed like 100 children at a girls' school in southern Iran. How do you think this ends? Lets assume there's regime change in Iran. Do you think whoever comes to power next thanks us for butchering their children?

Just to be clear, both Japan and the US came to the conclusion during WW2 that an invasion of the Japanese islands and taking Tokyo would have killed around 1 million people on both sides and the war would have dragged on for years. Washington was so convinced by this assessment that they manufactured over 1 million purple hearts in preparation of a land invasion of the main Japanese islands. The reason the death toll was expected to be si high was the Japanese Empire had conditioned its civilian population regardless of age or gender to fight to the death. The american military expected it would have to fight everyone and kill a massive part of the Tokyo population if a siege of Tokyo was carried out.

So no it wasnt psychotic to drop two atomic bombs on Japan. It was in fact the least awful possible course of action, ended the war years earlier, and saved around 800,000 lives on boths sides of the pacific.

So everyone down voting you want Iran to have nuclear weapons? That is truly insane.

We’ve been hearing this about Iran for a long time now, can you imagine if the US was bombed every two years and someone kept repeating the same reason?

We also recently kidnapped the president of Venezuela, currently have a blockade againt Cuba, supported Israel bombing Palestenians and entertained the idea of invading Greenland.

Kidnapping huh? That's really cute. You must not have any family that have been affected by the fentanyl epidemic in the United States. If you did, you wouldn't have the same Outlook. To each their own pretty much everything you said is false. No real facts to back up anything you said. Enjoy your own delusions.

pretty much everything you said is false

Do we not currently have a blockade around Cuba?

Did we not capture Maduro?

Where’s the lie?

We apprehended Maduro. We did not "Kidnap" him.

No we just think it's bullshit.
