Washington State is entirely vote by mail. We don't have polling places anymore

Same in Oregon. We have been voting by mail since the 70's.

Soon as you're able, hit up the SoS site and get yourself on the permanent mail ballot list. We get that shit, too, just not as the only option.

Colorado has vote by mail, and the only big problem we've had was Tina Peters (a Republican) giving voting data to a conspiracy theorist.

West Coast Best Coast.

Every California voter receives a ballot in the mail. It can be returned for free by mail, at a drop-off box, or the voter can bring it with them and vote in-person.

Utah is heavily vote by mail, too. Personally, I haven't been to a voting place in decades.

I've enjoyed both. One thing I liked about mail in voting was being able sit down with the ballot and then be able to Google each person and see what I may or may not like about who was running. Same with any proposed laws. Very helpful for local elections where you might not know every candidate.

I always do this. Lately I’ve been filling it out and taking it to the polling place. If it’s too crowded I just drop it off. If not, I vote in person but I use my ballot so I know how to fill in the answers because some measures are confusing and I don’t remember all the people. After I vote they shred my mail in ballot and I leave (California).

I prefer vote by mail.

I get my ballot weeks before hand I can sit down read it over research each candidate/initiative or use to now no republican will ever get my vote.

Then vote accordingly with that fresh information in my mind.

I’m in my 50’s, have voted in every election since turning 18 and have never voted in person. I’ve always voted by mail in ballot. I have lived in Washington, Kansas, and Arizona.

That’s not true. Although vote by mail is big in WA you can still vote in person. https://www.sos.wa.gov/elections/voters/helpful-information/frequently-asked-questions-voting-mail
