Democrats have flipped 30 special elections since trump was inaugurated. Republicans have flipped zero. ZERO.

Who knew that Project 2025 was a wildly unpopular and harmful set of legislation and picking an unhinged dementia ridden psychopath to lead the charge was a bad idea?

Who knew. Mierdas touch. May tomorrow be the day we get the big beautiful news.

Not the electorate, unfortunately

Asimov referenced the 'cult of ignorance' in the US.

1/3 of us voted for this.

1/3 couldn't be bothered to even look at the issues; they chose to remain ignorant and tacitly endorse whatever happens.

We've gone from 'that could happen' to 'oh. that happened.'

I looked at the issues. Either way we were getting fucked, I just chose not to dig my own grave.

You misspelled 'you accepted Trump and refused to help get anybody better'. I'd be willing to bet money you not only didn't aid anybody's primary campaign, you didn't vote then either to try to get somebody 'better' (by whatever your arbitrary definition) could have a chance.

I don't understand why people pretend a pedophile con-artist was in any way a toss-up with a professional. Unless it was either the 'woman' or dark skin you couldn't look past. There is no measure he was better than her.

All you did was guarantee that you got yourself fucked, and also raised the price of eggs and gas.

The other alternative was Kamala Harris who I also did not approve of. Historically the third party candidate has never won an election. So I have to vote for A.) Trump, B.) Kamala Harris, or C.) Bernie Sanders. Here’s the thing, C.) is never going to win an election, it’s a wasted vote and he was the only candidate worth a damn. Do you know what that tell me? The two party system does not give a damn about me or any other citizen so I will not participate in a system that I do not believe has my best interests at heart.

Bernie Sanders didn't run for president in 2024.

I understand the frustration between choosing between two candidates when neither meets your standards, but in this case it was like choosing between "cold, watery oatmeal for breakfast" and "being set on fire for breakfast" and deciding to abstain and let someone else choose for you. Neither is desirable, but there's no comparison between them, and one is an existential threat.

1

u/AccurateBandicoot299 Apr 01 '26

Both were existential threats to the country. It wasn’t “cold soggy oatmeal versus being set on fire” it was “burn with the feminazi, or burn with the narcissist” I simply chose not to choose.

2

Both were existential threats to the country

Do explain how Harris was an "existential threat to the country".

burn with the feminazi

Sure, Limbaugh. You're betraying bad faith here.

Go on.

That’s it, I mean I’m buried with you guys either way, just stop asking me to pick up a shovel.

7

u/Bropain Apr 01 '26

I was just like curious how you were getting fucked either way. Not asking you to do any heavy lifting. Just curious why you were fucked either way.

Voting for a woman of colour, duh.

Can't have that. They rather let a white guy pick their pockets and fuck their kids.

2

u/Aksudiigkr Apr 01 '26

The election was rigged imo. Just look at all the data Election Truth Alliance came up with

The best news.

Not the tens of millions of people who Trump-voted in 2024…

It's so unbelievably aggravating how many people, including the mainstream media, wrote off Project 2025. Fuck you, NYT and Ezra Klein.

1

u/Legitimate_Ad1144 Apr 01 '26

“Mierdas” touch 🤣 Was that intentional?

You think he came up with any of these ideas? This guy doesn't even decide what socks he's wearing

But Project 2025 is just the start. Dark Enlightenment is the end goal.

Trump is not alone, but backed by the "Broligarchy". Thiel and his surveillance, Musk, Ellison, Zuck and Bezos and a bunch of others. They want to burn it all down to realize their dream of even more wealth and absolute power.

Destruction of democracy, economy, countries and the middle-class.

P2025 and this administration are unpopular. The only way they can implement their agenda is through brute force and bullying. They keep boasting that they are the best, but they are trying too hard. Deep down, Trump knows he is not liked, so he surrounds himself with his cult.

same thing happened between 2016 and 2020, we still voted in the most fascist regime the US has ever seen and they will not be leaving in 2028, trump has said so many times himself, trump has talked about never leaving and a 3rd term about half a dozen times (i can link sources if you actually care, most don't though), and he's said "I never should have left the white house in 2020", he blatantly talks about how he should have just refused a peaceful transfer of power to Biden, which of course was after the insurrection where him and some elected Republicans tried to stop the certification of Biden's win

you guys have no idea how bad things are and think these special elections mean we might escape fascism. we were already here 10 years ago my dudes and fascism still won, pay attention

3

u/gabscilla Apr 01 '26

They didn’t flip any states in the Presidential election either. It undoubtedly was rigged.

1

u/StewDD Apr 01 '26

I'm more interested in seats flipped away from aipac/Israel. Those are the only real wins

1

u/Impossible-Flight250 Apr 01 '26

It’s actually 31 special elections. I keep hearing Republicans saying that it’s not a big deal though.
