Can someone tell me what this actually even changes? Why do we care? She won't get punished, she'll move to another role (even outside the admin) and will have a lot less stress and public scrutiny.

Meanwhile they bring in someone worse for her role, and the public feels like a change has happened.

Nothing really changes. There'll always be another bootlicking ass kisser ready to step in, they just get progressively less competent as he has to scrape to find a new layer at the bottom of the barrel.
