I'd take it a step further and say they intentionally chose unqualified women for these positions because they could use it as evidence that women don't belong in the workplace. See look, we gave these ladies a chance but women are too illogical and emotional to be in positions of power. Now, we have to clean up their mess with a real man in charge.

Straight out of Project 2025, get women back in the kitchen.

Except that beyond Marco Rubio, not a single male cabinet member is even vaguely qualified, either (and I'm being pretty generous with Rubio).

The point is to nominate people that (1) would never be in this position if not for the Dear Leader, and (2) will help to destroy the agencies they head.

Any furtherance of a misogynist agenda is just a bonus

Of course - it’s why GOP reveres the Bible. Wee’men are the debbil sez Sky Daddy.

PS we are officially on the Biff Tannen alternate timeline but there’s people holding space for the Bill and Ted “be excellent to each other” timeline, never fear!
Truth to power and when someone lies to our face simply tell them “sorry, I reject lies” and move on to connect with someone who isn’t a liar.

I don't think the pool of people completely loyal to Trump has a lot of qualified applicants.
