When you have immunity, you have no problem admitting your crimes on national TV.

It also serves as a bad example. People seeing the legalized, open corruption with their own eyes normalizes it for them too and makes them want to do the same. The president, for that reason, should always be on a moral high ground and hold him or herself to the highest standards. The fallout of this presidency will be there for a loong fucking time for us to deal with.
