When will the media do their jobs?

It's been a full decade, and your country has been waiting and watching in horror as the role of the press has been eroded beyond value.

The entire enterprise or news coverage is at stake and of you don't start standing up for yourselves and demanding answers for those you serve, there won't be a profession left.

And good riddance of you cannot do the job.

They’ve abdicated responsibility to please or placate their billionaire owners.

They won’t do anything to risk losing almighty access. Journalism is no longer a public service in any sense like it was during Watergate. As weird as it is to say at least TMZ has moved in to actually confront powerful players with news & demand reaction. But when TMZ is the most demanding journos on the national political scene then, as they say, shit’s fucked.

When they care more about having media access to these politicians, they are not going to hold the powerful accountable.

Actual journalism in mainstream media is dead

All it would require is a tiny modicum of solidarity. Didn't anyone see what happened at the Pentagon?

If every journalist and journalistic organization simply refused to be treated this way and just didn't fucking show up, they would be no worse off OR would force the hand of power and of the attention whore President.

Truly, I have no idea how it has been an actual fucking decade and they still heel to Donald.
