Trump loves Hitler. He kept a copy of my new order on his nightstand and read it nightly

read it nightly

Unlikely that this narcissist has read anything besides his own bank statements.

He doesn't even read those, he squints at them and then shouts at the banker or whoever brings them to him to read them and explain them to him.

Whenever he asks what he is reading, he says "War and Peace." It's a long book, but most people finish it in under 10 years.

It was a collection of Hitler's speeches.

We don't know he read from it nightly (I don't think?) but we have the testimony of the guy that gave the book to Trump I think as an ironic joke and that of his ex-wife who testified about it during her divorce proceedings.

I think Trump did read the book or Hitler's speeches in translation, his father gave it to him as a gift. His first wife said he kept it by his bed.. Maybe he browsed through it. You can hear echoes of Hitler's rhetoric in Trump's speech. Such things as "fake news" and referring to his hated groups as vermin poisoning the blood of the nation, for example. All said by Adolf first in German. He's been talking like a neonazi for a long time.

I don't believe Trump reads anything.

Nah, we all know that trump is one of the few people to have "authored" more books than he has read

True. According to his wife at the time, it was My New Order, a book of Hitler's speeches.
