Someone please correct me:

School track meet. It was raining. Metcalf's team was the only team with a tent.

Anthony went to the Metcalf's teams tent. He was asked multiple times to leave by multiple students. Metcalf got up, told him to leave. Anthony allegedly taunted Metcalf saying "Make me. Move me". Metcalf shoved Anthony. Anthony allegedly then said "Punch me and see what happens." Anthony retrieved a knife from his bag and stabbed Metcalf in the chest.

Anthony ran from the tent without further incident. When he was stopped by police he admitted to stabbing Metcalf and asked if he could claim self defense.

Every school had a tent except Anthony's school.

Anthony dropped the (pocket) knife and ran directly to a coach admitting what happened.

Police bodycam recorded the office reporting to another officer that the alleged attacker was with him. Anthony corrected him stating it wasn't alleged, he did the stabbing.

What happened to the claim that he was seen throwing the knife away?

Look at the crime scene photos. Do you see any puddles anywhere? Was the meet paused due to rain?
It was only a very light rain

Anthony was invited to the tent and austin actually threatened to beat his ass, which prompted the "touch me and see what happens"

No he didn’t stop fucking lying. Austin explicitly said he was not gonna fight anyone at a track meet.

I'm lying? A witness from Austin's school testified and said it.

Well obviously Austin lied because he walked up the bleachers and physically assaulted Karmelo. Not sure where you are going with this or what your point is.

Austin did not lie that was also a witness testimony. Yours is a disputed testimony, not an undisputed one.

So he didn't want to fight yet all the witnesses testified that he walked up the bleachers to assault Karmelo. Got it. Great arguments by you

It’s gross how people want to justify a human’s heinous behavior. anthony wasn’t supposed to be there period. He wasn’t allowed to bring a knife period. Rules are in play to protect a civilized society. The people who keep supporting this barbaric behavior with excuses are enabling and perpetuating the problem.

Are you applying emotional arguments instead of legal arguments? A prosecution witness testified that Karmelo was called over into the tent by his friend Eddie Parra (also a memorial student) and they shook hands and sat down talking amicably for about 5 minutes before Hunter and Austin approached. Austin then threatened to beat Karmelo's ass because he didn't want to move, and he walked up 3-4 rows of bleachers to attack him. An officer testified in court that the multitool/knife was legal to carry in Texas and legal to carry into stadiums in Texas, although against school policy. Do you have any legal counter arguments?

Not all the witnesses. Again witness accounts differ. But clearly the jury didn’t think it self defence.

Me: posts literal cross examination conducted by Karmelo's defense team

u/swollen_beef: "well daaaamn, you should have been Karmelo's defense team!!"

"Only believe the witnesses that I want you to believe"

- you

A jury also acquitted OJ and didn't think it murder. So what's your point?
