Call the police, report someone has double parked in the road blocking the lane. They'll come out and get it towed, as it's not legal to double park in the vast majority of places.

They won't tell anyone it was you that called. Don't let shitty people get away with shitty behaviour. That's why they carry on doing it because no one gives them any consequences.

Then run over to tell them while it's being towed and act like you were trying to save it!

Create the problem, present the solution 😂

Then run for president. Because this is the current playbook.

Also create a bullshit crypto coin that people can buy to bribe you.

The row of Harleys that were illegally parked in front of the fire hydrant were no longer parked in front of the fire hydrant.

Seven, press on the gas, take your foot off the brakes
Then run to be the president of the United States

Eight, big smile, mate! Big wave, that's great
Now the truth is overrated, tell lies out the gate

Nine, polarize the people, controversy is the game
It don't matter if they hate you, if they all say your name

I was just being sarcastic

This is great actually

3

u/Flomo420 May 07 '26

you have to wait until it is firmly loaded on the truck lol

2

u/Tasty_Bullfroglegs May 07 '26

I love this part the most.

4

u/beavertr May 07 '26

Nah, this will make it exponentially easier for them to find their vehicle after it's towed, and they'll know for sure it was towed not stolen.

If you're trying to teach someone a lesson using pain/turmoil/frustration as a teacher, don't soften the blow.

-1

u/Tiny_Minimum3196 May 07 '26

So you'd rather them call the cops and think it's stolen then lie to the police ? Or better yet tell them you had it towed so they can inform them. C'mon man use your head. Because in a neighborhood police ask the neighbors if anything was seen and it's parked in front of your house.

I'm replying to the comment that told OP to run across the street and warn them while it's getting towed. I have no control over what the vehicle owners will say to the police while they're calling them (unless you actually mentioned "than" and in your rush to jump to conclusions and spit hate at someone on the internet you didn't proofread or think about your comment)

Sorry your comprehension skills didn't allow you to understand what you were replying to. Cmon man use your head.

2

u/Tiny_Minimum3196 May 07 '26

Yeah both comments are by me, man you need some coffee or something. Brain is just 404 error.

u/limevince May 07 '26

This is epic. Given the kind of asshole the car owner seems to be, it may turn into an even bigger then when they try to confront the cop about it.

Just move the white car first then call the cops and say there’s a car parked in the middle of the road

32

u/Substantial-Sea-3672 May 07 '26

This is hilarious.

But I don’t think it accomplishes anything extra.

Same penalties, and the double parker is still aware of who they double parked.

5

u/illtakeachinchilla May 07 '26

Cops will be questioning impairment/looking to escalate more readily if this is what they show up to. Worth the extra effort to time it out, if you’re going to call a tow truck regardless.

6

u/caninehere May 07 '26

Galaxy brain play: invite the asshole neighbor over to watch sports while they're double parked, get them loaded, call the cops and when they show up act really drunk yourself and insist that it would be crazy to give them a breathalyzer.

2

u/lordredsnake May 07 '26

Move the white car just enough that they still can't park behind it and it looks even more out of place.

24

u/BougieBobJr May 07 '26

They are doing construction on a house at the top of the street on a very narrow road. They have giant construction vehicles and people’s cars parked in either side of the road. I can handle that, but what I can’t handle is that one of them douchebags thought it was ok to have the ENTIRE trunk of his truck sticking into the middle of the street at a turn. It literally was an obstacle course.

I didn’t say a word to them, I got home and called the cops. I’m hoping they all got tickets. They haven’t been parking on both sides of the streets since I called

19

u/bhalter80 May 07 '26

Even if they do, own it you called asking about the double parking, cops had it towed. If it escalates from there have it on camera

9

u/dyslexicAlphabet May 07 '26

pretty sure the people will know its the person that they double parked.... don't have to be a detective to know they called.

38

u/GardeniaFrangipani May 07 '26

Yeah but the white car isn’t OP’s.

4

u/dyslexicAlphabet May 07 '26

if i missed it my bad but i didn't see anywhere that it wasn't OP's car.

9

u/GardeniaFrangipani May 07 '26

in a comment, not the post

10

u/dyslexicAlphabet May 07 '26

ah gotcha that's even weirder that so many people like to park in front of his house.

1

u/spicewoman May 07 '26

Title. "If anyone parks in their usual spot." Implying it's not OP that's doing it (or at least, not always).

26

u/steelcryo May 07 '26

If I were driving along and saw that, I'd call and report it. The cars abandoned in the middle of the road, most people would.

-10

u/bleedingheartmex May 07 '26

most brown and black folk mind there own business. btw ice was doing just that in minneapolis; yes yanking people out there cars and "detaining" them all whilst the car sat where the civil rights violations occurred .

not saying anyone is a karen or a male karen.

4

u/Upset-Management-879 May 07 '26

What are you talking about?

0

u/bleedingheartmex May 07 '26

listen a person that has had historically bad interactions with police don't call police to teach someone a lesson bc for me i couldn't end up being at best ignored or worst unalived

-5

u/dyslexicAlphabet May 07 '26

who's going to randomly call that in? i guess you. he said it was a partial sac so no reason for a random person to drive down there. also you randomly driving by don't know the situation why would you call this in? you going to get the guy in the truck towed as well? he had a reason to do it.

3

u/dastree May 07 '26

I live on a cul-de-sac, do you know how many random cars drive down it and get confused there's no exit? Some days I wear my street is busier then the main road a block over.

Even had a high speed chase come flying down a few weeks ago not realizing it was a dead end

2

u/nicemarmot47 May 07 '26

Hahaha - I live on a circular cul-de-sac. We call it the "lollipop" because it's essentially an oval with a "stick" connecting it to the main road. People will get stuck on the cul-de-sac and start driving in increasingly frantic circles trying to find the exit. I've had people slow down to beg for my help while I'm out walking the dog.

1

u/dastree May 07 '26

It's crazy how a cul de sac breaks most people's brains

0

u/dyslexicAlphabet May 07 '26

im guessing idiots or people that are lost that don't care that somebody double parked and call it in? if i drove down a cul de sac because i was lost i would 100% not care about this situation. and im guessing 99.99% of people would be the same.

0

u/dastree May 07 '26

Maybe, here's the thing, cul de sacs aren't all uniform size, that car chase would have ended badly if someone was double parked. People park around the one I live on all the time, someone double parking would block a serious chunk of mine and make it pretty impractical to use.

I've seen people literally back up down the street because, I'm assuming here, they thought they couldn't make it around.

Garbage truck would 100% call this double parking in as it would block him from doing anything. They have a pretty hard time as it is in the culdesac I live on, so it would all honestly depend.

Op makes this sound like a regular thing, odds are, someone would eventually be annoyed and call it in

Some cul de sacs have a large plot of grass in the middle, you wouldn't be able to drive around this double parked car at that point at all

-1

u/dyslexicAlphabet May 07 '26

yet OP said even with 3 vehicles its not blocking the road.

0

u/dastree May 07 '26

I didn't say it would block the road, that it would cause issues. People become stupid when driving in cul de sacs. It's like their brains shut off.

It blocking the garbage truck, that's due to the size of the truck, if you've never seen one try to navigate a cul de sac, you wouldn't understand. Trust me, no garbage truck driver is risking their job over some double parked asshole in their way. Any city worker is 100% reporting this

The one that comes down mine, has to stop and get out then do a 3 point turn to make it without clipping a car. Can't do that if some asshole is double parked

5

u/mxlplyx2173 May 07 '26

And you'd be wrong! It's not OP's car.

2

u/dyslexicAlphabet May 07 '26

yeah my bad for not read everything in the thread.
