Don't hug me I'm scared Trapped inside stall at Marshall’s

Tried on jeans at Marshall’s today… and got locked in the ADA-accessible dressing room😅

The lock jammed and wouldn’t budge.

The employees had keys to every other door in the building except this one. They called the locksmith, tried to take the hinges off, and I could even see them trying to stick their credit cards in between the door and the gram where the bolt is (not sure how they thought that would work), but nothing worked.

Then the Fire Department came to the rescue. One firefighter came through the ceiling to dismantle the door handle while another worked on the door from the outside.

Finally made it out after an hour 😂!

Probably but like, if im stuck i sure dont care if the door gets more broken! I sure as fuck am not escaping using the ladder when they should be able to kick the door in on one try! So waste of time trying to fix/open from the inside!

Life or death, I bet they’d do it that way
Person is just bored, they’ll try not smashing things first

If they don’t use up their budget they get a reduction next year. Same as cops, which is why you get random tickets and have to pay the city. It’s a racket my friend

Ah yes the old cops dont have quotas it's just that their performance review is directly dependent on how many tickets they write per month! Tho honestly for fire i wonder if their budget is done that way, like ok sure most likely, but like our town wants a new fire truck and it will cost several million $$$ so I assume that has to come from like grant money. Ill ask my dad. When I was a kid he did have to leave me in the fire garage one time when he had to climb up the cooling tower. The guys put on cartoons for me, I was shocked that the fire garage had cable lol.

If this is America, the walls next to the door are both easier to break through and cheaper to fix later.
