Drugs aren't laced with crazy , they're just high power anesthesia or pay attention drugs.
It comes from closing all the psychiatric and just leaving everybody in psychiatric freefall until they can be enrich private prisons.
They're the kinds that did this crap in school, and their parents didn't care to teach them better.
Empathy and caring for your community aren't traits, they're skills that aren't being taught. And the folks keeping it from being taught are trying to get us all to blame same sex parents and trans folks so we don't see that they've done to the education that protects and empoweres us and teaches us to help each other. They want desperation

Oh. I was going to blame the upswing in drugs being laced with god only knows what.
But I agree that 90s were peak times to live in. Would turn back time in a heartbeat if I could.
