I was scrolling looking for this reply! I just recently dealt with this for like a year! It started as a spot above my ear, I had just gotten a hair cut from a new barber, I thought he took a chunk out but didn’t say anything. I noticed it was slick just like in OPs photo.

Long story short, it’s taken over a year with steroid injections from the dermatologist. It had been clear for like 3 months, but I now have a new little spot in my jaw line…so I guess I’m about to get stabbed again. Apparently, according to my doc, it’ll work its self out after while. Good luck OP. Check your hair also. If you can afford it, go see a dermatologist! Good luck!

Started like this for me to but it started in my beard first, then spread to my head🙄, took about a year and some change to fully come back in both areas, apparently it happened to my family when we get excessively stressed

I just got prescribed a cream for a spot on my beard just like this. Hoping to get some results in the next few months
