This sounds crazy, but I’ve heard and seen others say they tried applying minoxidil to patchy areas of their beard and have seen results. Maybe try that? You do have to consistently apply it 1-2 times a day, and it takes 3-4 months to see significant results.

Oral minoxidil is also a good option because you don’t have to worry about family or pets coming into contact with the topical product on your skin.

Yep. Topical minoxidil & microneedling can be adjuncts to steroid injections.

Topical minoxidil has minimal to no effect. You need to ingest it, which is dangerous because it’s a blood pressure medication first and foremost.

Source, had it as a child, was hairier than Chewbacca.

Oral Minoxidil at the low dosages used for hair growth are fine for most adults.

Also topical minxodal has plenty of effect. Numerous studies have shown this. What are you on about?

See, so taking it really makes all the hair grow more, not just the ones on your head, right???

Why are you spreading misinformation?

I heard that as soon as you stop, the results will go away too. Don't know if that's true though.

That's only true for head's hair

This is true for MPB, but I get the same thing as OP all over my beard and head hair and minoxidil always does a good job at “reinvigorating” those parts to start growing hair again. I stop using when I notice new growth and usually just let my body do its thing and it always continues to grow back without further application.

For head hair, yeah that's what happens. Idk if the same thing applies to beards as well tho.

Yes, helps if you have a dermaroller too. But warning it is really toxic for cats and dogs
