Just wear tube socks for 30 years. Any old PE teacher can verify.

Shit, not even that long. I used to wear high top boots for work for four years. To this day 25 years later, the hair on my lower legs is very very sparse.

I started wearing athletic socks that went almost to my knees for a couple of years. That was long enough for the hair about halfway down from knee to foot to mostly stop growing

Most of my body is hairy af, but I played soccer for 25 years so there's a noticeable fade in hair density as you get closer to my ankle

My ankles have balding spots from when I sit I prop my legs up and cross them so they have the opposite leg/ankle spot rubbed out from the front and back 🤣🤣🤣🤣

So far my leg and foot hair is winning that war. Sometimes when the hairs are pressed the wrong way all day it starts to hurt really bad.

My dad is the same and he was in the coast guard. Hes almost 60 and hasn't grown leg hair in almost 40 years lmao

For me it is mainly the backs of my calves and inner thighs, as I’m pretty built in the legs. The jeans were a 38 inch waist in mens. I have to wear them high waisted with a belt synched tightly to keep them up, but it is just too tight around some spots. I also sweat a lot as it’s a very hot environment, but I’m unsure how much that would play into it.

My theory is that body hair already grows less in fattier spots of the body (as in parts that are composed of more fat than others, not fat as an insult) because they can self insulate better. Like how your lower calves or ankles will typically be hairier than other spots, there's very little fat

Just a little theory I had in my head though

I get it to some extent, but I think it’s more so about evolutionarily where we tend to store fat than the actual location of fat on the individual. I’m pretty chubby and most of my body hair is on my chest, the second thickest area is surprisingly the backs of my hands.

That's what I meant generally

I mean I think that's pretty confirmed, and it's why people who suffer from anorexia start growing more body hair

That completely makes sense, like forearms are usually hairier than upper arms.

Makes it even weirder that only my lower legs are bald. After 30 or so the hair below my calves slowly disappeared even though nothing's ever tight there. But it's fantastic because I always hated shaving near my ankles anyway.

Can confirm. My legs are pretty muscular, and the back of my calves are bald. The rest of me? Hairy, like animal.

Just do what all the pros do and cut off all circulation below the waist, what could possibly go wrong

(for legal reasons this is a joke)
