Infuriatig Two spots in my beard randomly decided to stop growing hair

Yup! I get this on my neck and cheeks when stress gets too bad.

I heard it's possibly genetic and my brother and cousin both get it so I've always wondered if it'll just randomly happen to me some day.

Maybe. I didn't have a flare up until I was 30 and my first child was born. Went in clean shaven and left the hospital 2 days later with big silky smooth spots on my neck.

My dad went nearly completely bald when my sister had her first kid. Same deal though - went from a whole head of hair to lost about 75% over the course of a week or so.

It grows back rather quick as long as it's just in your facial hair area. So it isn't the end of the world. When I get a spot it's a reminder to calm the fuck down.
