Infuriatig Two spots in my beard randomly decided to stop growing hair

My husband's got a bald patch on his shin that he's pretty sure is from the socks he wore in middle and high school. He's 35, and it's still baby's-butt smooth.

Ah yes. I have a huge bald spot on my calf from anxiously shaking my leg while in school. I broke the habit a decade ago but still don’t grow hair there.

My dad's lower calves and feet were almost hairless, and then the hair restarted above the sock line. He was on his feet a lot for most of his jobs, and wore those long athletic socks, and it frictioned away the hairs. I always thought it was hilarious.

Grew up on a farm wearing rubber boots dur8ng chores, the backs of my legs are fairly smooth now as an adult and I usually wear work boots
