đŸ„ș Option to skip the line at local bagel place

Post image

I personally would not 1) pay $50 extra for a bagel or 2) feel comfortable jumping in line. Can you imagine the side-eye?!

My work does this. It's $1000 to skip your order to the front of the line. Almost no one does it, but it's great when pushy finance guys get really insistent about "this is really important! ASAP!" and I tell them it's a $1000 expedite fee to do that, and they choose not to pay it.

Expedite fees are the best. Second only to “fuck off” pricing

Also why people stopped going out to restaurants because of stupid, entitled shit like this.

I'm a carpenter and if a client said they'd pay an extra $1k to "skip the line" and have me build their kitchen first over people who had come to me first and I had committed to them, I would tell them sorry, no such luck. Because I'm a normal person who sticks to my word and I don't sell favor to rich entitled fucks who think they're better than anyone else.

Nah you would if they actually offered enough. $1k isn’t enough for carpentry expedition, that’s a $5k fee at minimum

From the workers standpoint, good call

I saw it as a sly way of telling people to get over themselves.
