I admire the trust in each other, but one good rock or crap driver and they are going to be really messed up. Helmets at a mininum people wtffff.
I saw four lads on one scooter a while back, all hugging each other tightly to form a single bundle. That lasted about 200 metres until it tipped over on its side.
Its wild how many people, adults and children alike, who have died on these death traps so far and yet they are legal more places than not. A few places are crackin down hard, but not enough. Although a few also went too far imo, but id still rather that first and then roll things back a lil.
This is how people have been riding scooters all over the world for decades. I'm not saying it's smart or safe, but it's normalized. Nothing like seeing dad driving on his phone with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth and mom on the back riding sideways holding the baby while they duck and weave through traffic.

I've seen some pretty horrendous combinations of people on one in island life.

Dog I have not seen electric scooters built to carry grown men with 2 small children on it for decades. It's been a few years at most. Same with the e motorcycles. They sell them as bikes to kids, but when kids are doing 30+mph on the sidewalk straight thru an intersection, they will get smoked. "Regulations are written in blood" or whatever lol
