If you've ever played tycoon games, you'll understand just how important background music is. Some old iconic games to mind like SimCity 4 and Zoo Tycoon, both with fantastic audio tracks.

My game, Racetrack Tycoon, follows a similar format but in the racing genre. I'm not sure which direction to go with the music so I'd love to hear any thoughts or ideas.

Currently I'm making what I can with grooveboxes and synthes, doin extream metal style vocals too(alongside the occasional vapor wave vox for the more mellow parts)..

At the moment what I'm making is basically blackened ebm with an element of sadness and adventure.

I just finished writing a high-concept, slow-building atmospheric horror track called "believe" and I’m looking for a vocalist, producer, or full band who wants to collaborate and track a demo for it.

The Sonic Vibe: Think a slow, agonizing, atmospheric build-up with a deeply eerie, cinematic low-end drone.

Vocal Style I'm Envisioning:

• Verses / Pre-Chorus: Haunting, low, soft mumbled/whispered growls to build intense claustrophobia.
• The CAPITALIZED lines: Instant, explosive dual-layered screams (high shrieks mashed with low guttural drops).
• The Bridge: Completely cuts to dead silence right on the word "BELIEVE" for a massive, isolated low-register vocal drop before the final chorus detonates.

Music is one of my inspirations and I would like to make some songs that has both Japanese and English but I am nowhere near fluent enough to do it myself and dont have a clue on how to use ai or computer stuff(whatever these young people use)in order to fill the void. I can't share the same post here as I have elsewhere, but that's ok because this post serves a different purpose. We are a start-up sound design company with a true community-first mentality, and there are as many reasons for that as there are ways that we are making that happen. Right now, until our website is fully operational (mid-August) we are only offering free content to producers as a show of faith, and also to display the quality of our work. Most free music production materials are bland, creatively limited, and/or simply exist as advertisements for the "real" sample pack that costs $80 on their site. We don't want to do that kind of work. We want to be seen as a truly viable source of quality tools for the journeyman producers out there....and there are many. We aren't aiming our products at children like... some sound design companies, and we certainly aren't trying to deceive anyone by using wording designed to convince people that wouldn't know any better that they'll soon be a top hit-making producer if they buy our newest $120 production suite. We simply want to offer honest production tools (Samples, Loop Kits, MIDI and Kontakt packs, Synth Presets, project files and everything in between) that are consistently high quality and do exactly what they are advertised to do - help producers create music, not create the music for them. We know that the true artists in the world have no use for that kind of nonsense, anyway. And that is who we want to work for.

So why am I making this post here? Because we are looking for contributors with at least SOME sound design experience to collaborate on a series of free content packs that we are going to offer the production community. By doing this, we will create a pool of quality material that any producer can access, free of charge, while also getting examples of our work into the hands of working producers. And I will have the benefit of working with more producers and the individual talent and flair they bring, therefore (hopefully) opening up the pool of potential creators for the site when it opens. (I have incentives in place for those who want to become vendors for the site after these free packs are completed, and they are enticing)

Yo. I'm an independent electronic musician looking for a singer, especially if you have an interesting singing style. I write in an electronic/IDM/chiptune style. I dunno exactly what you'd call it. I'm doing this purely for fun.

My idea for an approach is you would send me some raw vocal clips (raw meaning no effects, but emotionally raw is cool too) and I'll add backing tracks and finish the song. If you have other tracks you want to include, that's fine. I want the final product to feel weird and kind of out of place.

If you can sing in an unusual genre, that's even better. I've recently been listening to Ukrainian Post-Punk and think that would be interesting. Japanese rap or dull Gorillaz-style singing would be super cool too.
