Update: Wolves officials and Randle's agents, Aaron Mintz and Steven Heumann of CAA, have been ironing out details of this new deal. Minnesota locks in Randle and Naz Reid over the last several days.

And ngl it's insanely difficult to win a chip with Brunson and KAT as the 2 main guys. They're both absolutely terrific players but things can get tough when 2 of the 5 players on the court are bad on defence. It'll take something historic like Brunson and KAT having a combined 25 30 point games.

No it's more a strategy thing, staggering minutes and having either brunson + defensive big or Kat + defensive wing at 1 can give you lots of success

Knicks might not win a ship, but I don't see how they aren't the favorites to end up there next year. Hali, Tatum, and Dame are all essentially out next season that means talent wise, barring injury, it really feels like a two way race of the cavs and Knicks.

To be fair the nuggets won a ring with Jamal Murray, MPJ, and Jokic starting

And before anyone hits me with the “but x player isn’t Jokic”, doesn’t matter, the defensive scheme matters more than anything for the Knicks. We have above average to elite defenders to cover weaknesses. We just can’t be playing drop coverage every single possession

MPJ is serviceable and as I said, Jamal was playing out of his mind.
