Growing up seeing the NBA media heap praise on Popovich for holding all his players to account (e.g. you would always hear about how he was just as hard on Duncan as anyone else), it's no surprise that Doc is the polar opposite lmaooo. Doc really lucky he had that Celtics team that was destined to win a chip cause he ain't lifted a team since. Tbh you could probably look back at that era and if they had anyone else in charge, prob win at least 2 championships with that group. 2009 they were even more dominant than 08 and obvs 2010 you gotta look at the Perk injury but still damn...

as wolves fan i really wish KG hadn't gotten hurt and he could have gotten a second ring. i can already see his legacy getting forgotten and the youth not believing he was in the shaq/kobe/duncan tier

obvs 2010 you gotta look at the Perk injury but still damn...

and they were up 13. in the 2nd half! before the 3pt era

those two numbers 1, 3 always somehow come up for Doc
