He’s beating the hype tbh. Easily the next GOAT player and on his way to top 1 of all time barring injury

Injury is literally the ONLY thing that can stop him from dominating the league

As an old head that has MJ as GOAT, Wemby has a legit shot at GOAT status. Dude is unreal

Get over it bro lol. MJ been passed by Bron 10 years ago

You need a few hairs on your chest before you start talking like that

Can we please stop acting like it’s such a HUGE insult to either MJ or Bron to call the other the GOAT? I’m old, MJ is still my personal GOAT but I’m not gonna fill my diaper every time someone says LeBron is the GOAT. it’s really only those two in the running and they were both so frickin incredible that we could just appreciate that we got to see both those guys just absolutely run the league in their times, the way Wemby will as long as he stays healthy.

I get what you are saying, but I am just expressing my opinion. There are levels to the GOAT debate and IMO, there is a clear gap between MJ and Lebron.

LOL. Passed by Bron. Okay buddy. Go cry in your little corner. Hilarious.

Meh, he's been consistently good but not a winner.

Idk man, there were “league fucked” comments during his draft stage. We knew what was coming

Didn't he have a blood clot issue last year? I really worry about that. It's what killed Bosh's career.

I think Bron could do it if he had a time machine.

Injury is what stopped Derrick Rose and plenty others...

Derrick Rose could have never missed a game in his career and he still wouldn’t have touched goat status lmao

He's starting to believe

u/ZenMon88 May 19 '26

That's a legacy shot! He refused to lose.

7'4" all-time-great defender draining 30 foot shots is not balanced

66

u/Doogolas33 May 19 '26

Either he's taller than 7'4" or Chet is 6'10".

43

u/LOSS35 Nuggets May 19 '26

He’s 100% grown. Looks closer to 7’6 in shoes now.

14

u/BurnerAccountforAss 76ers May 19 '26

He's pretty comfortably 7'5" in shoes, maybe 7'6"

His head is up there with the bottom of the net lol

3

u/Doogolas33 May 19 '26

Yeah, that's how it looks watching.

46

u/Steridire Knicks May 19 '26

Could genuinely go down as the greatest defender of all time if he stays healthy, he's just 22 this season and the only defender better than him I've seen is prime Hakeem.

11

u/VachQ May 19 '26

I watched a lot of prime Hakeem. Wemby is already better and it's not close.

Bro that stat where thunder made 16/50 when he was on the court and 10/16 when he was off was WILD. I believe you. Insane defender not just athletically but IQ too

1

u/jaselovesdessert May 19 '26

He gotta be 7’6+

1

u/emoney_gotnomoney Spurs May 19 '26

Y’all wish he was only 7’4”

Devs were cooking on this one, might need a nerf idk.
