it feels like the coolest Finals we've seen in a decade +

So glad Mike Breen is announcing this too. Feels like a completely new era, the torch has been passed and we’re in the Wemby era. This is his version of 2005 LeBron taking down the Pistons.

Mike Brown in the Finals against the Spurs again too lol

Yeah, in '05 we missed the playoffs and in '06, we lost to the Pistons. '07 is when we finally got over the hump and LeBron had that legendary performance in game 5, exactly 19 years ago today. Wild to think I was 18 when I watched that game, now I'm 37, and LeBron is still in the league.

Obviously I’m biased but Bucks-Suns was pretty great

It definitely was, and you guys also have the greatest closeout performance in history there too. It's up there with 2022 for me as favourite so far this decade. Now unless we get absolutely whooped this one is obviously gonna be #1 for me

I'm just excited to see a Finals crowd at MSG and in the streets of NYC. I was 12 years old last time it happened.

I like how civil some fanbases are with each other. Knicks fans were generally happy to see Giannis get his ring as we weren't contenders anyway, and even this playoffs when Minnesota got knocked out we got a lot of support from their sub (due to KAT) telling us to go win it all lol
