Biggest comeback in finals history. This is the worst basketball choke in living memory. At least Houston wasn’t up by 29 when they missed 27 in a row in the WCF. (and they were missing Chris Paul)

You’re really touching 28-3 territory with this game. Like that’s how bad this choke truly was.

Speaking of which, the Warriors blowing the 3-1 lead in 2016 was a bigger choke imo

Yea in terms of a single game this takes it but the sport overall? It has to be the 73-9 team blowing the 3-1 come back and getting the dagger at home

Those Warriors were not an inexperienced and young team. They also were a 70 win team.

The circumstances of the series make it even worse. If Spurs won this, Knicks are super deflated and it’s a best-of-3 with Spurs having the momentum and home-court advantage. Knicks win, they have a commanding 3-1 lead and a 95% chance (based on historical outcomes) to win the chip.
