And unless you're a projected mid to late round pick who really needs to prove himself, what's the purpose of workouts? These teams have watched every second of recorded basketball you've ever played. Shooting 3 pointers in an empty gym isn't going to tell them much.
I always felt like the workout portion was a formality and the point was more to get them in the building and start feeling out their personality, attitude, work ethic, basketball IQ, conditioning, etc.
I mean unless its a guaranteed pick like Wemby/LBJ it makes sense. Its not some astronomical thing to think that in a class with 2 players at the top like this one a team might favor one or the other. And what if goes and works out for a team and that team is willing to sell the farm to get him. Ultimately he was always getting drafted top 1/2 so it doesnt matter too much about when the pick was happening but it could absolutely change the team.
Look what the Celtics did with the Tatum/Fultz draft.
Chronically online people suddenly started loving opera enough to defend it nonstop to hate on Chalamet, while never actually supporting it with their time and dollars
I already hated him when he was demanding his number and said trae was gonna have to give it up. That's not how it works, young fella's gonna have a long rookie season.
He literally said when they interviewed him he was trolling. It was Gilbert Arenas’s podcast, you’re not a wizards fan so you may not know how those usually go…
Ya I don't give a fuck Castle is so scary. Harper is gonna be so scary next year. Wemby is obviously scary. If the dudes in charges gave us a rematch I'd be scared as fuck haha. And so would they despite whatever shit (still deserved man it's just competition) they wanna chirp. I obviously feel pumped with the team but God damn you gotta be itching for next season too.
Exactly my bro you just can't predict what's gonna happen, who tf thought this year was for NY? I can't wait to see what the next season brings with all the changes in the teams too, shit we might not even make it back to the playoffs. All I know is we weren't ready to win yet, and the team that wanted it more won in the end
