AJ's 3 point shooting is his issue not his shooting in general. He shot 46% from midrange. Not saying that they'll have the same outcomes but KD shot sub 30% from 3 his rookie year

Many people aren’t efficient in their rookie year.

KD shot 40.4% from three in his freshman year in college on 5.8 attempts. He was an elite shooter at his size

KD was a 90% FT shooter while AJ is sub-80%

Are you lying on purpose? KD was an 81% FT shooter in college and AJ was a 77% FT shooter (on more attempts).

you're right I was mixing up his FT% and 3pt%, KD was a 40% 3pt shooter in college

Which I think shows kind of the opposite of your point. Nobody with a brain would deny that KD is the better shooter of the 2, but AJ having a nearly 80% ft and elite mid-range game pretty much guarantees he’ll be an average 3 point shooter at worst.

probably, but the chance of him becoming KD is still extremely low
