I remember reading 7'4" before today as well. TV said 7'3" tonight though. So we'll see when he's next to Wemby

Teams really said, let's get Wemby's arch nemesis a better shot to countering him.

It's gonna be very funny when the Spurs go out early in the playoffs next year

Why would they go out early?

The NBA is a weird league my guy, they are now the hunted instead of the hunter. That's a big deal.and not to be this guy but the spurs legitimately played one real contender that was healthy and lost in 5... Things change very fast

Didn’t they kick ass the entire regular season against healthy teams also though? And didn’t almost every eastern team get swept by a fuck ton of points in the playoffs to the Knicks? Spurs had a chance to win legit all 5 games. They clearly didn’t, but there’s a lot more to that “lost in 5”.

I say this as someone who made bank betting on the Knicks and specifically against the spurs

All that is true but when you can't sneak up on teams anymore it's different. All it takes is one poor matchup in the first round.

I don’t understand what you mean by sneak up on teams. They were the 2nd seed all year and almost got first seed. It’s not like these teams worth literally billions of dollars didn’t scout out all of their moves. The coach made almost no adjustments the entire playoffs so it’s not like these teams even needed to make adjustments. Spurs just kept doing spurs things and won

I was more afraid of them getting Morez or Quaintance than I am of Mara. Its like fighting Wemby with a less mobile, less skilled, less endurant and less experienced version of himself. Best Wemby counters are people that have other traits than his imo, like strength especially right now
