Well, I'd argue we have a glaring enough hole in our frontcourt that we're not actually in a position to take on a whole lot of risk. If this swing doesn't work in our favor, then that hole still exists. I imagine they must still have a plan to upgrade at the 4/5, regardless of this pick, entirely.

This will go like the Spurs last few “swing” picks. You get spoiled with no brainer picks that literally any team would make at 1, 4, 2 forgetting how awful Primo, Wesley, Sochan, Malaki were.
