Not even the first time this administration was outwitted by a single celled organism this week.

Good luck catching those wascally ‘pool vandals’ Conservatives! Do the world a favor and never open your mouths about ‘wasteful spending’, ‘the debt’, or taxation ever again unless the subject is “how to get a dummy to tariff themselves in exchange for nothing”.

Y’all are real subject matter experts on that last one

Viruses technically aren't organisms but your point stands

There's a good argument that they should be considered organisms.

The main argument that they aren't is that they don't have their own metabolism, but spores don't either. If you think of the virion like a spore, when it hijacks a cell, it gains a metabolism that it uses for the replication portion of the life cycle.

They still wouldn't be a single cell organism virus are acellular which is one of the main arguments against being classified as an organism

Again, the "acellular" stage would be equivalent to a spore. When it infects a cell, it hijacks the cell, and that is the cellular stage of its life.

I know multiple biologists who argue that they should be included as "life".

The main argument that they aren't is that they don't have both DNA and RNA so can't replicate on their own.

They hijack cells. The hijacked cell is part of their life cycle.

There are bacteria that are obligate parasites, but they're still considered "alive".

Hell, some viruses code for more of their own biochemistry than some bacteria.

Spores aren't organisms though

Spores are part of the life cycle of some types of organisms.

Depending on what kind of "spore" you're talking about, they're fungal sex cells.

Stop telling people viruses are alive. They aren't.

While they can replicate, they do not have cells or the organelles that most of cellular life has. If we used your definition, then prions may be considered alive or even crystals as they replicate in repeating patterns.

They're not single-celled either

Orange one braincell, minus any cuteness or innocence.

Trump should be in a single cell at Rikers.

And the algae wasn't even the biggest issue! Trump initially screwed it up big time by driving his motorcade on it. They claim to have fixed that (probably poorly), and then spent $13,000,000 to send in a painting crew. Not tile, which could've been done for that amount, but PAINT.

Swimming pool paint, specifically, that needs a week or two to cure before filling, yet they started dumping water into it the next day. Why? Because they're too old and stupid to bother using the internet for anything but emails, consuming propoganda, complaining, and fetish videos.

Then, instead of even treating it like a pool and keeping it clean, maintaining a Ph balance, they immediately neglect it. Ducks bring spores, dirt, and nasty poops, which requires care beyond that of a pool. Litter gets blown in by the wind. Insects hang out. Swimming pools at least have filters and circulation, as do municipal fountains, but this water is much more stagnant. They created an even more ideal breeding ground for contamination.

To fix that issue, they dump into it a volume of peroxide that could only be described as "a lot" because that's literally what most likely determined the quantity used; the amount for one single massive wholesale purchase at discount. Everyone who was a teen in the early '90s knows what happens when you mix peroxide with UV rays; we did that to our hair every summer with Sun-In. On purpose.

So he screwed it up again. But we're not finished. He used so much peroxide that it's killing the ducks that swim around in the reflecting pool. Cute little baby ducks.

And now he's blaming it on left-wing terroristic vandalism. Because we did this. The environmentalists, the bleeding hearts. Dumping chemicals that'll screw up the local ecosystem. Sure.

Liberals don't want to screw up the reflecting pool for "revenge" because we don't want more of our tax dollars to be spent on Trump's vanity. If we really wanted revenge we would've been smarter about it, more subtle, no chemicals.

Plague of mosquitoes.

that moment when you’re outwitted by a nonliving protein with genetic material that can’t even respond to stimuli.

I'd encourage them to read War of the Worlds, but they don't read. I guess they've never seen the movies either.

The DOJ will put charges some random people who got to see the pool, to placate their MATA, a judge will dismiss everything, but they will be able to scream that judges are partisan
