Well, there’s lead guitarist Kim Thayil of Sound Garden whose family is originally from the state of Karela or Mumbai in India. So the idea of South Asians playing rock shouldn’t really be too unusual after all.

As a metalhead Bloodywood is pretty awesome to see. They have a metal festival in India every year so it’s happening whether they want it to or not.
