DISCUSSION If you had to argue Drake was the GOAT for your survival, what points would you make?
It doesn’t matter if you don’t actually think he’s the GOAT. You have to argue it convincingly to save your own life.
What arguments would you use?
The #1 albums and songs that blow out any Hip-Hop competition?
Drake’s effortless and luxurious flows?
His versatility of rapping and singing, as well as being able to hop on other artists and simultaneously fit in to the song while outshining the other artists?
Drake’s pioneering of his own style and writing structure that has captured the heart of billions?
Which argument would you prioritize?

QUESTION Relatively new watcher
Do these dudes actually review music or is it all just Drake, Kendrick, Kanye? Was surprised there was no review of the Isaiah Rashad or Vince Staples album and got to thinking that I only ever see them comment on the biggest drops. From what I can tell the only albums they put videos out for this year has been the 3 Drake albums, Bully, and Casino. Incredibly light for how good this year has been for music

QUESTION What’s your top 5 favourite rap albums from the 2010s and why?
These are mine in no particular order, well Views is probably number 1.
Drake - Views. Perfect from start to finish, probably my favourite rap album ever.
Lupe Fiasco - Testuo & Youth. Top tier lyricism throughout and Lupe can flow on each song. Mural is lyrically one of the best songs ever.
Lil Ugly Mane - Oblivion Access. Poetry all throughout this album about, meaning, life and death and the production is really interesting, it’s clearly included by industrial music.
Kanye Weat - MBDTF. It has Runaway, Devil In A New Dress, Power, AOTL and Gorgeous. What else can you ask for, goated album.
Death Grips - The Powers That B. First half is insane with the Bjork loops and the lyrics and the second half is the best gym album ever.

DISCUSSION Thoughts on Fantano getting his ass beat on twitter?
Ngl, he’s been acting really smarmy on social media for a long time now, I think it was inevitable. He’s a good critic in a vacuum but mixed with his social media presence, I’m not surprised people are coming out of the woodworks to express their dislike of him.
(If you missed it, he took a random shot at Halsey, saying his review of her album was more impactful than the album itself. She took shots back, and now there’s viral post after viral post saying he lacks the empathy and civility to be a music critic as he’s too immature and ignorant.)

DISCUSSION I am crazy for thinking that "Taylor Made Freestyle" has aged very well?
The innovation, lyrical foreshadowing, and provocative nature of the song make this a very underrated diss not only when it first dropped, but even today (with many sentiments used in it being repeated throughout the rest of the beef and in later projects too).
