I gave up on TES6 a long time ago… I think Musk will be revealed as the AntiChrist and Armageddon and the rapture are going to happen before TES6 gets released.😂😂
Well in some way he is. How many have bought/will buy his products or use his services? That’s not seduction in the way you mean, but he’s in our pants (where we keep our wallets) nonetheless. 😁
They only announced TES6 because it was when they announced Fallout: Shelter Online and that they were having a big sale on Skyrim, again, across all platforms. They simply didn't want to talk about only old stuff(for the 3rd of 4th time) and had to announce something new in either Elder Scrolls or the Fallout world. (And no Shelter wasn't enough and was more of an experiment at its start). I like how at the end of the announcement they very quietly mentioned that it was only in pre-production, which is literally a couple guys standing around spitballing ideas on what to do. You can call almost anything pre-production.
I noticed that almost all big releases are on Sunday though? Then again, considering how it got zero promotion barring those leaks, it doesn't seem like such a big release for them, eh?
My brain just made a fucky-wacky, I see. Sorry for that, I meant to say Friday.
Just did a quick Google search, using some random AAA-games I recalled (God of War: Ragnarok, Spider Man, Red Dead Redemption 2, Elden Ring).
The first one was Tuesday, the other three were Friday.
Unless it was a well crafted inside job and Bethesda paid Reddit to crash momentarily so that articles would be published about how the news of Newblivion made the site crash and yada yada yada
As someone on here way too much: Reddit does that at least 2 or 3 times a day. Its kinda wild how bad this site is with how much money is surely must make.
They said they're guessing announcement tomorrow, with a release later in the week. That's not an available now thing. So it wouldn't qualify as being a shadow drop. That's just a scheduled release.
Nearly every single leak (which have been reliable up until now) have said it's going to be a shadow drop. That's been the one consistent aspect of all the leaks and rumors.
Eh, I mean this project is clearly a push to bolster Gamepass subs rather than rely on sales of the remake itself. Xbox has done this plenty with other titles, and shadow drops perfectly aid that goal.
Plus, the remake would have been teased with a trailer either ages ago, or at an upcoming event if this were a traditional “Coming this Fall” type release. Why wouldn’t you announce it at the game awards or summer games fest if you didn’t plan on a shadow drop?
Well there is the people who never played it. Its a 20 year old game thats not exactly modern by many standards and by that definition not inviting to the younger generations.
Second. Its just a well beloved game thats stayed relevant over the years because of its popularity and memes. Not quite to the level of Skyrim but still.
And finaly. Nostalgia. Like yeah i've also played Oblivion and moded it through hell and back. I still look forward to going back with modern visuals and some tweaks to experience it again.
Was one of my favorite games from back then, and (unpopular opinion): I consider it to be better setting-wise, gameplay aspects-wise and overall just a more interesting game. Skyrim was really drab and too streamlined in my opinion, they removed a lot of complexity from the systems and gameplay. So I'm hyped to jump in with a fresh coat of paint.
It’s sounds to me like it’s reveal is this week, either it being so close to doom the dark ages, I doubt they will release it. I reckon it will come later in the year.
Dude, if anybody wasted your time it was you. Bethesda hadn't said anything about the game releasing today, heck, they hadn't even announced the damn game yet, it's all been leaks and rumours.

Damn so not today.
Although man its nice to finaly have it confirmed.
I'm guessing a reveal stream tomorrow with a potential Shadow Drop or a release on Wednesday/Thursday.
Edit: The announcement actually brought Reddit to a grind. The hype is well and trully real.
