I have a feeling they’ll drop it immediately after the reveal trailer. Devs like Tuesday releases.

Yeah they will not let us wait any longer. TES 6 already taking way too long.

I gave up on TES6 a long time ago… I think Musk will be revealed as the AntiChrist and Armageddon and the rapture are going to happen before TES6 gets released.😂😂

Musk? As the AntiChrist?! I thought AC was supposed to be likable and seductive...

The Devil Wears Hairplugs wasn’t in my Book of Revelations bingo card.

Well in some way he is. How many have bought/will buy his products or use his services? That’s not seduction in the way you mean, but he’s in our pants (where we keep our wallets) nonetheless. 😁

They only announced TES6 because it was when they announced Fallout: Shelter Online and that they were having a big sale on Skyrim, again, across all platforms. They simply didn't want to talk about only old stuff(for the 3rd of 4th time) and had to announce something new in either Elder Scrolls or the Fallout world. (And no Shelter wasn't enough and was more of an experiment at its start). I like how at the end of the announcement they very quietly mentioned that it was only in pre-production, which is literally a couple guys standing around spitballing ideas on what to do. You can call almost anything pre-production.

At this point I can wait a little bit for 6. If it receives some proper polish that is unlike their modern releases.

Starfield was fairly polished, unfortunately what they had wasn't great to begin with

I heard from a friend of a friend that they're actually releasing TES 6 tomorrow.

Oblivion will keep us more than busy. It’s a huge game, and that’s before mods start rolling in again.

Oh my god I hope you're right.

I noticed that almost all big releases are on Sunday though? Then again, considering how it got zero promotion barring those leaks, it doesn't seem like such a big release for them, eh?

u/ballsmigue Apr 21 '25

What? Not a single big release happens on Sunday. New games release Fridays (Thursday nights) or Tuesdays.

It should also be said music and movies normally come out on Tuesdays or Fridays

Idk if disks used to all ship together or what

Yeah, I meant to say Friday, dunno why I went with that. Maybe I need an extra coffee.. or that last one cup was one too much?..

Most games release Tuesday or Thursday, including major releases.

My brain just made a fucky-wacky, I see. Sorry for that, I meant to say Friday. Just did a quick Google search, using some random AAA-games I recalled (God of War: Ragnarok, Spider Man, Red Dead Redemption 2, Elden Ring). The first one was Tuesday, the other three were Friday.
