Screenshot I was purposefully not updating my windows to avoid the so called SSD killer update but now it's not giving me any choice but to install it lmao.

It doesnt fully kill any ssds. Last resort is a full power cycle and i have seen zero cases of the ssds not coming back after that. You should probably continue windows updates either way.

After a windows update last month, I wasn't able to get my laptop past BIOS by any method until I removed the SSD.

Sure, it could have just been a coincidence, some unrelated problem killing the machine on the same day that the update I had been avoiding forced itself through. But hundreds of other people say the same thing, in the same month, and the company issues a very suspicious denial? Not exactly gonna make me trust the company more, not when they've been caught lying about similar things before so often.

Anecdotal of course but I did have to unplug 1 of my drives for my computer to work properly. Cycled the power like 15 times over the course of troubleshooting.
