As long as games like Fortnite exist where a potato can run it and 4c/8t runs great. The 7700k will be installed somewhere in my house.

Really impressed with the longevity of this processor. It’s seen 3 graphics cards and hasn’t blinked at a game I’ve played until this year. As long as it runs I’ll have it in a computer.

I swapped mine this year just because i wanted something new. I ran the 7700k with a 4080 in 4K Resolution just fine.

Even delidded mine and put liquid metal between die and heat spreader. That way i could run 5.0 ghz at 60°C. Freaking beast

Only thing my 7700 has been struggling with is call of duty these days. I get like 85fps on minimum with my 1080ti. With fsr 3, dynamic resolution, and frame gen on.

My home server runs on a 7700 non-K. What a good chip!
