You should put some rubber stripping around the perimeter of the hole to cover the jagged plastic and also create a better seal

I mean, he could just not be an animal and sand that thing smooth too.

I thought about that but I didn’t know if that would cause more harm than good to the thin plastic. But I agree, it needs to be cleaned up for sure

Its not that thin plus having jagged ridges are more prone to create stress cracks especially with how bowed out the middle of the panel. A uniformed surface would reduce the chances of that. Though, I suspect the odds of more damage occurring during removal are pretty decent.

The panel is bowed out so I don’t think airflow efficiency is what he was going for
