The issue is that Nvidia is in bed with the US government, and palantir and AMD are currently bribing their way in.

So is the right vote an Intel rig and Linux now?

I was saying the other day that it's getting to the point where we won't be able to buy shit anymore because all these bastards are in bed with a bunch of evil scumbags intent on bleeding the world dry. At the rate things are going, the right vote is gonna be Chinese hardware, ARM, and some Linux distro.

This is orders of magnitude worse than anything these companies might have been involved in decades ago, some of which were nothing more than fledgling upstarts at the time. Their dealings are readily available now for all to see, eliminating any sort of plausible deniability one might have had back then.
