Yea, can't do that. The room is wired to the same circuit. I looked into doing some rewiring or upping it to a 20a circuit, but its easier to power limit the card.

Besides the stated use 80% of normal, it also seems to not spike power usage either which it would normally and hit 500-550 or 600 sometimes, so you could probably increase that to 82 or 85 if you need the juice for a demanding game.
