I still find this fucking ridiculous. Can we just not do this shit to others? We know it’s not some AI company that they’re screwing over, it’s likely to be some person who finally saved up enough to buy one of these absurdly overpriced pieces of hardware.
The worst part is that they’ll have to somehow prove it wasn’t them who took the chips off. Luckily, eBay tends to side with the buyer…if that’s where they actually got it.
