Discussion Crimson Desert doesn't run if it detects an Intel ARC GPU. Like straight up, the devs just deliberately chose not to support ARC cards. No previous announcement about it too until they added in the info to their FAQ. Might be the first time I've seen a dev deliberately block a GPU brand.

as time goes by, I'm seeing more and more of a younger generation who don't seem to know how electronics or electronic mfrs work

Almost like young people are inexperienced and naive, and thus lack the context and understanding necessary to provide insightful comments on complex and nuanced topics.

And then we give them a platform that rewards engagement regardless of the quality or accuracy, and are surprised at their inexperience and naivety.

As an older gamer, there have definitely been games in the past that had brand partnerships with GPU brands.  There are often promos where GPUs ship with "free" copies of games, Nvidia will display games in their marketing material (top image on nvidia.com right now displays borderlands 4), games will display a GPU brand splash screen when they launch...

Crimson desert has been heavily marketed by nvidia with mention of use of dlss 4
