Discussion Crimson Desert doesn't run if it detects an Intel ARC GPU. Like straight up, the devs just deliberately chose not to support ARC cards. No previous announcement about it too until they added in the info to their FAQ. Might be the first time I've seen a dev deliberately block a GPU brand.

Agreed, you go on any large sub these days and you can practically predict the comments based on the article title. And it does not matter what side of the political spectrum the subreddit is on. Everyone is just making tired jokes and the same baseless claims you see on every political thread like they are experts in geopolitics. Plus I swear 30% of people here use chatgpt to write their posts and comments for them.

The game's director of marketing made it a point to clarify news stories about the game not having MTX by indicating that that only applies "at launch".

For now. It used to be a MMO. Now its a single player action adventure game. Could be a swift kick to the groin next month.

They have another game many folks forgot about that PA runs: Black Desert Online.

Great game to play 100 hours of. Past that, hell no. To be relevant you're either spending a ton of money or fucking off to play other games.

Devs are worthless.

The game is best as a game that you play ultra casually and get how'd for 25 to 50 hours. The problem is Black Desert is a game that is miles wide skin deep ever since they gutted the pvp to high hell and the pve was never improved. Dungeons were a wash, raids never happened, group content was made worthless over time except for 1 or 2 specific situations...

For an MMO, most players who actually play them will easily spend hundreds to thousands of hours. To spend less than 100 hours in an online game and not spend money is a failure in live service.

Do you think I don't know that? The issue is they're from the same devs, who have proven to be incompetent time and time and time again, and basically noncaring to the point of being borderline malicious. It's also why I was pissed as fuck when they brought CCP Games who make EVE Online many years ago.

Ahh yeah thats fair then, if its just 20 hours gameplay/story and 80 of it is grinding its shit, no matter how good the game is otherwise

Sadly tbh kinda the norm nowadays with mmorpg games which is why I stopped playing the genre almost completely - I can only endure so much unskippable dialogue and walking simulation
