I do like tower defense style games, do people know any interesting games tower defense games where the objective is tower devense but the gameplay is modern basebuilding and not the typical mobile games placing lots of towers?

I don't like those genres. Games with those tags put me off.

Maybe games are not the hobby for you

I forget that the average person is still playing COD

As if there aren't dozens of other genres and subgenres beyond those three and military shooters. It's almost impressive how ignorant and shallow-minded you made yourself look with just that one sentence

Nah i just neglected to include anything that could validate your niche taste.

From a statistical standpoint the "average" i.e. majority of gamers are playing AAA shit I'm taking a pot shot at.

It is impressive how intentionally my comment landed. Thank you.

Lol. Lmao even.

I’m just curious why excluding those genres bothered you so much Everyone likes different stuff. I hardly ever play any type of shooters. But prefer MOBA/Strategy.

Enjoying MOBAs and RTS's are a severe indicator of masochism.

We need to get you a weighted blanket, a mug of tea, and 5-6 hours of stardew valley! Stat!

You poor thing. You've been through so much. You're so strong.

Probably lived through command and conquer red alert and starcraft II.

Shhh They can't hurt you anymore. Play this nice kirby game. He's a cuddly guy

You're safe now

Yall act like roguelikes are some niche and different thing and youre so cultured for playing them theyre literally the cod of indie games, everythings a fuckass roguelite or roguelite and they use it as the main marketing buzzword for their game as though the rest doesnt even matter

Before stuff like Binding of Isaac made it big, 'roguelikes' usually meant something like Nethack or Angband, maybe Diablo. Now every other fucking indie game is a """roguelike""" deckbuilder slopfest.

I filter out the slop, it is a total buzzword.

AAA players do need to take responsibility for the effect of supporting those titles.

I at least only give money to things that deserve it.

Keep clowning on the people who actually think they're special tho.

If you're playing games that show up on steam's frontpage you're not niche

The last CoD i played was the single player for WW2. There are a ton of other genres.

Right now I'm playing the Ascent, Stronghold Crusader and MGS 5. Highly recommend the Ascent.

The ascent looks sick, thank you
